I was not disappointed - life has so many ups and downs and that is why T L Swan’s books are on my wish list as I find them lively, romantic and entertaining. This was just as I hoped it would be. I laughed out loud at the dialogue between the two main characters and I would recommend her books to anyone who likes spicy romance with humour but also heartfelt emotional twists here and there. I cannot wait for the next one!! Ps. The male narrator was excellent too. X

A mix of T L Swan’s fabulous writing and C J Bloom humorous narrating is a match made in heaven!!

I've been waiting for 2 1/2 years for this book. We had a sneak peek of it when we read the Christmas special, and i wanted more. They deserved a full book, and i enjoyed every second of it.
The narration was incredible, it made a good story even better. The first few chapter were in the Christmas special, so i had read them a few times before, but listening to it was an entirely new experience. Her inner thoughts and their fight on audio was hilarious. 100% reccomend.

The banter between Gabriel and Grace had me laughing out loud so many times! It was absolutely hilarious! At other times, though, I was close to tears. It took them both a very long time to work through their personal emotional issues so that they could finally get their happy-ever-after. Grace was full of fear of being hurt again and not being good enough, and Gabriel was utterly stifled by the control of generational family obligations. Both of them made some serious mistakes in how they handled themselves, their situation and each other, but fear is a powerful force. Also, I find it shocking that in this day and age, parents (in this instance, Gabriel's) can be so narrow minded and want to live their lives and their children's lives, too. So many mistakes made and so much time wasted... If this wasn't the case, though, we wouldn't have had the wonderful story we were able to listen to, and thereby live Grace's and Gabriel's experiences vicariously. The Bonus is a story I would recommend, and I've already picked out a number of other stories by T.L. Swan to listen to.

To anyone who has been waiting on this book to be published, like I was, suffice to say it’s more than worth the wait! It surpassed my expectations by a country mile and they were high as T L Swan always writes an outstanding story but she definitely surpassed herself with this one.
I can’t wordsmith how utterly fabulous this book was. It had everything in it I love - a compelling storyline, adorable characters, belly laugh humour, beautiful romance, emotional scenarios, witty amazing one liners, smoking hot sex as well as including characters from a couple of her other books (it could easily be listened to as a standalone but once you’ve listened to one T L Swan book you’ve got to hear them all!).
I’ve given it all the stars but if I could - I’d add the sun and moon to them too.
A MUST LISTEN TO - if ever there was one.
The narrators performance was truly outstanding.
