this has a great premise..the spice was amazing..the beginning was amazing... but then it went downhill when Juliet starting acting like they were soulmates and got super clingy. And then Henley... he was a robot..he was so oblivious in some parts.

The narrators were good, but I think all audio books with Dual pov need to be a Duet

I’ve always enjoyed this authors books, they’re usually great but this one lacks the depth that is presented with all her others.

It started well but then fell flat. A real shame.

This is quite different from TL Swan’s previous books but contains her same beautifully handled approach to some tough subjects like grief and dementia. Much of the relationship between Juliet and Henley is laugh out loud funny ( C J Bloom take a bow, you really are too brilliant). I think that Juliet’s jealousy is actually spot on and totally understandable. I think one area that could have been stronger, is Juliet’s relationship with her own family. Surely, she would have turned to them at certain points in the book? Nevertheless, I really enjoyed it.

Hilarious and Heartbreaking with the fantastic CJ Bloom’s Narration

I am a huge T L Swan fan but was a little
disappointed with this one. It was an enjoyable romantic read but I was looking for the emotion and depth from her previous books. There also didn’t seem to be much of a plot, no real deceit or drama between the main characters that she normally writes.

If you haven’t read a T L Swan book yet please start with Dr Stanton and you will be hooked.

Great banter and hot scenes abound in this romcom with heart. With a host of interesting secondary characters, this makes a great start to a new series.

Another good story from T, the narrators did a great job. I can’t help but think TL can hear CJ Bloom’s voice when she was writing the book.

TL Swan is my favourite author by far. Love the Miles series. And have read all others too. The good thing about My Temptation is the narration by CJ Bloom. She made the story came to live. The story itself however is a little bit flat. I don’t see the depth of Juliett and Henley relationship enough to get emotionally involved in the story, unlike TLS’s some other books. Henley’s side of the story is very minimal. Wish could see more of his POV. Overall, just an “okay” listen as it’s short of TLS’s high standard like Miles High Club series or Dr Stanton. TLS is still one of my favourite authors though and CJ Bloom is now my top favourite female narrator!

As always another great book from T L Swan this didn’t disappoint , and I loved that it was included in KU and available to listen to on audible..loved Henley (swoon)and his friends too ..😉
