Alison Wescot inherited the antique store the day her mother died. It was nothing she wanted, but she couldn't part with it. The antiques inside were all she had left of her mother. Holy moly, I love Sarah Puckett. The narration gave this book a whole other dimension to it. I was totally hooked from the beginning. The characters were multidimensional and I loved the premise. The book was well written, and the narration just brought it to that other level. Great story.

The Iridescent Realm Book One.

Alison Wescot is working in the shop she inherited from her mother when an older couple finds a hidden compartment in one of the cabinets. Alison opens the box inside to find a key and a tale of another realm and her father. With nothing to hold her to this realm, Alison decides to take the leap and go to the other world. When she arrives, she finds out that her father is known as a ruthless king who killed the best friend of the man she has been dreaming about for years. Now, Alison has to figure out who her enemies and friends truly are before she is traded as a war prisoner. Her instincts tell her that Lucas Azure is her only way forward, even though her father is Lucas's mortal enemy.

If you're looking for a story about another world, one with danger tempered by love, this is the book for you.

Absolutely amazing story. Great characters. Narration performance brilliant. The way you can lose yourself in this book is unique. I need more from this series! Well done Michelle.

The Azure Kingdom by Michelle Dare is a fantasy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett.

This is the first book in The Iridescent Realm Series and follows Alison and Lucas love story. This is the first fantasy book of Michelle’s that I have read and it took me a bit to get into it. But overall it was a good insta-love story. I cannot wait to see how the series progresses in the next book The Pine Forest that will follow Oliver and Addison’s love story.

Sarah did a great job on the narration. She always knows how to bring a story to life.

After the death of her mother Ali finds herself managing the family antique store when she comes across a box which includes a letter and a key. She finds out information about her mother and her past which leads her on an adventure to a different realm where she meets Lucas.

Lucas is a prince who is determined to safeguard the realm from outsiders and those who wish to do them harm. He feels an immediate drawn to Ali but finding out she is the daughter of his family’s enemy changes everything. He doesn’t think she means harm when she becomes a pawn between his father and her father will he be able to protect the woman he loves?

There is no denying the chemistry and connection between Lucas and Ali but dealing with the secrets and their families may be the biggest challenge of all. Being that there was only one narrator I thought she did a great job at giving each character their own identity. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

I really like the idea behind this story, it's not one I've come across before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. it's a great start to the series and a brilliant introduction into the world and he people in it.

Totally adored this book. Honestly Michelle Dare doesn't disappoint with her writing.
I started and simply couldn't put it down. Really wish I have a skeleton key...if only..
This story has the right amount of, love, a tiny bit of angst, and great secondary characters.(I LOVE Tali and Storm)

The narration was good and easy to listen, but this wasn't one of the best narration of Sarah Puckett to be honest, but it's awesome to listen how much she has improved. I love her voice.
