Summary

Magic can kill you, even if you don’t believe in it.

Katheryne didn’t want to be different. She definitely didn’t want to be a hero.

Thrust suddenly into a world she never believed existed, a world of awakening magic, she has no choice.

The old power, hidden for millennia, is returning to our universe. But the power is not alone. Something selfish, something evil awakens in the shadows. Something that wants the magic for itself.

Katheryne must band together with a group of elite interdimensional warriors to battle for control of the magic.

It’s a battle she must win, for if she loses, everything she loves will perish.

Tales of the Neverwar is a clean YA series, a unique blend of science fiction, fantasy, and romance.

An epic Adventure

This has everything you could want for this kind of story and the narration was excellent.
The characters who range from lovable to deplorable are brilliant written.

Pretty poor

The first story is like listening to a shopping list. We are told that this thing happened, then another thing. The author is fine at telling us what happens, but doesn't bother with the how or why.

The second story is marginally better, we get some hints of the main characters having personalities. They don't have character development so much as character step changes though.

Here I abandoned the omnibus as a bad job, a waste of a credit and my time. I advise you to spend your credits more wisely.
