Another solid audio
Michael does it again returning to the voices previously used to give a continuation of the series. A stellar performance.

shame I can't give it 10 stars
WOW. better than the first one. hope there will be more.. very impressed. the first book was good and this one builds on it and is much better, funny with lots of action. and no!! I did NOT have damp eyes because of little Jeremy... spoiler alert... they were happy tears.

The story continues
I enjoyed reading this book, but when listening to the story I personally found it a little bit lacking in strength in comperission to other books by this author. It is still a great, fantastical and magical world with a huge dose of love for the kids, pack and ofcourse between Toby and Brooks.4*
For some reason or another I did not enjoy the narratiion as much as I usually do the firat time I listened to the book. The second time a while later I did enjoy it way better and discoveres more nuances. So I change performance to 5*

Great addition to the series!
This is a great addition to this spin-off/continuation on The Chosen One Universe. As any of the book on the series, Toby and Brooks love story kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. The plot thickened becoming more complex and even more interesting, the worlds collided and Toby's arrival changed the dynamic of the pack. Every book is better than the previous one and a wonderful treat for all the fans of the series like myself. Regarding the narration, in my opinion Mr Dean really got the gist of the series and the characters and his amazing performance brought the characters alive. I enjoyed a lot his wonderful voice and beautiful acting. I can't wait for more on this Universe and I hope Mr Dean will continue being the narrator. Loved it!

Job interview, what job interview?
Where do I start? The characters are well developed with great personalities. Toby is a human thrown into a world full of shifters and magic. That alone is a story of success.
Then he meets Brooks, who insists that he's Toby's mate. But the guy is a wolf, which is all surreal to Toby.
Then you add two poor orphans and all the other side characters. You then have a great story.
OH, and some hot sex. Not sure if I mentioned that. Would I recommend it? That would be a yes... Lol
I can't wait for book three to come out either in book or audio form. I just need more.
The narration was on point, but Michael Dean never disappoints me. I did, however, speed up to 1.15 on Audible, which is my norm.
