Gave up due to narrator

One of worst narrations I have experienced. Ruined what seemed like a promising story. Gave up

Once again great story 👍 but dire narration

If this series were not in the Plus Catalogue I definitely wouldn't be paying to listen to them. It's a shame as the tale in this book is once again great, has very interesting twists and turns and bowls along but the narration is dreadful - Who chooses the narrator ? If it's Audible themselves, they are taking advantage of the author and the listener.

Another great listen.

Really enjoyed listening to this story. Author, the characters and narrator were great as the other in this series.

Twists and turns keep you on your toes

The main protagonist, DCI Sophie, quite preachy and a bit too good to be true. Interesting to follow character development of all the recurring characters, but the accents are atrocious and pronunciation shocking. Overall worth a listen so persevere!

Sophie Allen does it again

Sophie Allen does it again, with a great team behind her. Great follow up to previous novels.

Please use a different narrator

This narrator drives me mad! I sometimes have to stop listening. Her pronunciation of words like data etc is really annoying!

Not very exciting

Everyone a little bit too nice to be true. I have listened to three on the trot so probably not a good idea. This storyline was very weak and I got bored with it. Some of the characters are developing and I will listen to the next one after I have had a change. The main character is just to good to be believable as a ruthlessly clever detective.

Appalling narration

The narrator is terrible. Boring voice. The attempt at different characters and accents ruined what might have otherwise been a good story.
