If you knew the future, would you change it?

Thomas Scott has lived his life twice before. At night, he dreams about his wife-to-be and resolves to preserve the timeline, so they can meet in the right place at the right time.

Ben Lewis was a middle-aged failure in 2020 before he was cast back into his 18-year-old body. Given a second chance, he intends to exploit it for his own selfish ends.

When the two meet in Oxford in 1988, they soon clash. The more Thomas tries to prevent Ben from disrupting the timeline, the more he delights in doing the opposite. A decade later, the scene is set for a final confrontation in the blazing heat of Ibiza at the height of the clubbing scene.

This story is the 11th part of an epic series exploring the time travel genre in original and innovative ways. The novels follow the main characters from youth to middle age as they jump forward, backward, and sideway into alternate worlds.

Again Jason has hit another level with this book.

The characters are very well described and the distinctive chapter style is innovative to me and works well.

The way it ties in with other characters from the Time Bubble series works well and leads to a thoroughly enjoyable book

The narration was spot on and captured the characters brilliantly.

I found it hard to put down and enjoyed the last 2 hours in one session.

I would say this is one of the best books in the Time Bubble series.

This is a fast paced, witty, touching and at times darkly funny time travel adventure with a host of colourful characters all fully brought to life by narrator Samuel James.

Ben is a brilliantly awful city-boy type villain and Tom strikes just the right tone as the more moral voice of the story without being too squeaky clean or preachy.

I can’t say too much about the female characters as I’d give the game away, suffice to say they each have a helluva personal journey. I was particularly happy about how things turned out for sassy Charlotte.

Credit to Jason Ayres for bringing back a TON of memories from my childhood in the 80s!

Oh and it’s probably worth pointing out - if (like me) you haven’t read or heard any of the other books in this series, don’t panic! This one’s a stand alone.

All in all a splendid, contemporary yarn - expertly told - that you’ll wizz through before you know it.

Left me wanting more.

Having followed the other Thomas stories I wasn't sure how this was going to go...it went superbly!

Great story and great narration, with enough of the Time Bubble saga in the background too.

I really enjoyed this one as it made me ask questions about what I’d do in similar circumstances and it had a bad guy.

The whole series poses ethical and moral questions but, more importantly, are just a real good read.

The next one is ready to go!

This was a tough book to get into not because of the story but because of the annoying character Ben who dominated the majority of it. You really want Ben to be given a slap because of his arrogance and selfishness. The last few chapters sailed by. Great story and brilliantly read.

I would recommend reading the others in the series first or you wouldn't get the full impact. I have enjoyed all of the Time Bubble series. There is a constant storyline with a few offshoots and this is one of the offshoots but it also links back to one of the other books (My Tomorrow Your Yesterday). Each story could be read on it's own but there is a lot happening so I prefer to read them in sequence. The narrator on this one is brilliant and brings the characters to life. If you enjoy time travel I would definitely give these books a listen, you soon get drawn in.
