Sadie writes the most delicious men and I think she has outdone herself with Drake! I really liked the story but Drake was a bit over the top with his possessiveness and stalker issues! Amelia was a great character too, but I didn't think she needed to put up with the amount of nonsense that she did.

The duet narration was superb by Sean Masters (who could read the phone book and I'd be happy) and Savannah Peachwood.

I'm enjoying the series and look forward to reading about the next James' brother.

Promise Me Forever was a slow-burn romance that kept me hooked, with well-developed characters and plenty of workplace tension. Drake and Amelia’s connection builds gradually but powerfully, making their interactions feel real and intense. The pacing lets that tension simmer before delivering a satisfying payoff. While this book isn’t quite as spicy as some of Sadie’s previous ones, it still packs plenty of emotional depth and chemistry.
I’ve been interested in Elijah and Amber’s story since the first book, and I’m looking forward to its release to see how their journey unfolds.
Sean Masters and Savannah Peachwood delivered an outstanding duet narration, truly bringing Drake and Amelia’s story to life with depth and emotion.

Personally this wasn’t a story I was expecting to love, for some reason Drake is not a good character or at least doesn’t appear to be hahaha. The premise of the story was promising but I’m afraid that it didn’t work out well! Drake is a man-child who kept treating badly at Amelia like 50% of the time, my girl needs to learn her self worth because she even ended up being kidnapped because she kept speaking with her dumb ex husband. Honestly, I don’t believe they make a good couple! They just lust for each other. the audiobook was perfection! I totally recommend it.

3.5🌟 3🌶 🎧5 beautifully narrated by Savannah Peachwood & Sean Masters. Drake & Amelia's spicy office romance. I loved Drake's dirty talking🔥 , alphaness & Growth. Amelia was very likeable, both are in their 30s. The spice was spicing 🌶🌶🌶.She fell first and he fell harder. I Didn't really like the 3rd act breakup but I understand the reason why it happened. was the timing perfect? NO & the mild OM drama was irritating but I did loved the ending .
