Summary
It was a night of passion with two best friends.
How was I supposed to know they’d end up being my teachers?
Professor Carter refuses to acknowledge me.
He doesn’t do his students. And he doesn’t do relationships. It’s the only way he knows to protect his broken heart. Professor Everett is the sweetest.
But what else could I expect from this attractive bear? If only he wasn’t so desperately in love with his best friend.
Is there space in their bed and hearts for me? Or am I just the wedge between the two friends with benefits?
Me Three is the second book in Rhys Everly’s steamy, low-angst teacher/student romance series A Proper Education, but can be listened to as a stand-alone.
It contains a nonbinary character, best friends to lovers, steamy threeways, and a poly-for-you trope.

Great reading!
This is one of my favorite series by Rhys Everly so having this book in audio is amazing. A steamy MMNB romance, with very interesting characters and a great plot. I don't feel so comfortable reading Teacher/Student stories, but this one was managed beautifully by the author. Low angst, many heartwarming steamy moments and wonderful characters, I enjoyed it so much. Now, this is my first book read by Mr York, but his narration of the story and the way he made his performance, ensuring that each character gets their moment and tells their story. A great narration!

So Much More Than They Ever Thought.
M,M,NB, Teacher/Student/Teacher, Contemporary Romance. Great story with wit, snark, humour, angst, heat and love, great characters with personality. A fun listen with lots of details given, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to their story. Brilliantly narrated by John York, I thought there were multiple narrators the voices were so good. guaranteed HEA.

solid performance
I thoroughly enjoyed the narrators performance and found it easy to distinguish between the main characters. The steamy parts, of which there are a few! Weren't over done. I think I preferred the audio as it allowed me to sink into the story and made Carter more likeable as a character

Hot all around
This trouple mm and nb starts as a one nighter, but soon turns hot and slightly filthy. This is a age gap and profs/ student story. It is a quick listen with great narration by John.

Delicious
Story: Hot and emotional story of three guys caught in a forbidden romance. Rhys Everly did a great job creating genuine characters I felt compelled to root for from the beginning. They are not perfect by any means and I felt a strong urge to smack them upside the heads so many times, but that’s exactly when you know the story is relatable. That’s also means the reader is invested in it and that’s exactly what it’s about.
Narration: Great voice and performance! John York did a brilliant job here!

Super steamy mmm!
Oh, my… Warning: you may want to read this with a fire extinguisher nearby!
I loved Tru, Everett and Carter’s story. Loved the way what was supposed to be a one-night-stand is something none of the three men is able to forget.
The three men have very different degrees of acceptance about it becoming more, with Tru being full-in, Everett following soon after and Carter having many more reservations and fighting it tooth and nails.
The book is quite low-angst, very enjoyable to read and incredibly steamy!

Great characters
I am often very uncomfortable with teacher/student stories, but this one triggered none of those feelings for me, I loved it. It is a lighter, less angsty take on the trope than many of them and the fact that it involves two, professors who are best friends needing to find a way to be more was an interesting variation. I loved the way the author handled everyone's different reaction when the truth of who they all were came out and Tru proved to be not only the catalyst for change, but the glue that pulled everything together. Probably why I didn't feel my usual concern about the teacher/student trope. A wonderful performance by John York on this one. All the character voices were distinctive and the emotions were spot on without going over the top.

One night leads to.........
I wish this story had been a little longer. I think the characters are well described and given personalities and actions that made me have feelings about them. Carter is holding on to his feelings about an ex who cheated on him. Tru has self esteem issues. Everett, I feel, is the voice of sanity. The interaction between these three have such a real feel to them. The way they decide to face and handle problems made me question more than once if they were really thinking about the consequences. I think narration by John York bade the story real.

This MMNB poly romp is steamy and fun!
I really enjoyed this sweet but *hot* non-binary MC meets best friends-with-benefits poly story. Tru has a very steamy hookup with Ev and Carter which was supposed to be a one-off, but... no one seems to be satisfied with that scenario. Both men work at the college where Tru is a student, which complicates matters but drives the plot forward. How non-binary Tru interacts with each of them as well as how they all come together for a satisfying resolution make this an enjoyable listen, and John York brings the characters to life.

Great performance

Manties and makeup
This would have been a great m/m story. Everette and True were great characters. The 2 of them were sweet and fun and made a great couple. Carter was a total D and ruined the enjoyment for me. Yes he's been hurt before, who hasn't. I couldn't empathize with him. He was too rude to the other 2. They did have great sexual chemistry as a throuple, that was hot but overall I wished they had ditched Carter. Overall the plot was great. I liked the whole casual hookup being surprised on the first day of school that they hooked up with both their teachers storyline. It kept me entertained from start to finish. It was sweet with all 3 in the end.
Narration = 5 stars
The narrator did a great job. They had a pleasant reading voice, expressed the emotions well and used different voices for the characters making it easy to tell the 3 apart and making it a very pleasant listening experience.
