yes, its very well done, does nt drag you down like so many books do

great characters and narrator

What does Katherine Kellgren bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

yes, her voices are fantastic

I like Darcy O Mara with the main character

I’m not sure if the strident loud tones are truly indicative of the upper classes (both English and American), so the narrative, whilst interesting and amusing, was lost in the narration.

I liked this and it's so disappointing that the narration is so poor.
It's over the top, but what makes it worse is I have to really concentrate to understand which character is supposed to be talking, they all blend together.
I've listened to hundreds of books and it takes a lot for me to stop listening purely due to narration.
This is perhaps the most annoying I've heard so far.

This was a well read introduction to "Her Royal Spyness" , and as such I will certainly go on and listen to more in the series.

This is such a fun, silly, mystery with all the tension between the main characters you may expect. This Novella is who it started. Read brilliantly again by Kathrine Kellgren.

This is a fairly interesting Book however the worst thing about it is the narrator I am sorry to say & I don't want to be mean but blimey she is atrocious! spoils it really but if you can get past the awful voices she does then its an ok book.

Not really -it's OK as short stories go but it's very written with the events of the books of the main series in mind and relies on the listener/reader forgiving the obviouos lack of continuity it creates with how things unfold in the first three books of the main series.

What about Katherine Kellgren’s performance did you like?

Seems reasonabley good and her Irish accent was nicely believable.

It has a whole series of follow-up books.

This was a fun, enjoyable and funny addition to the Royal Spyness books. And you will meet several people that will turn up in the later books.
