Phenomenal
What an amazing book, beautifully read, bringing life to amazing characters. I would encourage everyone who loves horror/chiller novels to listen, it does not disappoint at any point

Good story long ending
Loved the story but my god did the end not drag on for a bit too long could have been about 10 chapters shorter. But in saying that I did enjoy it

Great and terrible
I've just given up 1.5 hours from the end. I really enjoyed the first half or two-thirds, but from then on, it became very repetitive and really dragged. It has been a real slog to get this far, and I was determined to finish, but I just don't want to spend another 90 minutes of my life on it.
This story would have benefitted massively from a strict editor to cut out large chunks of the story or to be reworked into a two-parter or trilogy.
It's a real shame because it's an interesting premise and started so well.
I thought the narrator was very good.

Stephen King watch this space
Loved this book. Beautifully carved characters and a well woven, imaginative characters. One of the best narratirs I have ever heard. Christine Lakin is amazing! She really brought each scene to life and added to the tension. She terrified me with that voice. The only downside was that it became a bit long and repetitive but that was a minor issue. Thankyou Audible. I will be looking for more from this author and narrator.

Enthralling
I was totally hooked on this book. Sneaking a few minutes where ever and when ever I could. Just when you think it’s coming to an end it keeps giving. Writing and performance match the tone perfectly. Just brilliant.
