Summary
Zachary Perry is willing to do whatever it takes to win the heart of his mysterious, gruff, and oh-so-gorgeous forest-ranger neighbor, even if it means transforming his very bookish, nerdy self into someone (gulp!) outdoorsy so he can fit into Roan’s world.

MM Forest Guardian
Where do I start? The characters are well-developed and have great personalities.
Zachary is a human thrown into a world full of shifters and magic. That alone is a story of success. He soon discovers that there is more to his human word than he could ever imagine.
Then he meets Roan, his hot neighbour and a forest ranger who is also Zachary's mate. But Zachary sees a huge white stag just before Roan turns up.
Then, you add all the other side characters. You then have a great story.
OH, and some hot sex. Not sure if I mentioned that. Would I recommend it? That would be a yes... Lol
I can't wait for book four to come out in book or audio form. I just need more.
The narration was on point, but Michael Dean never disappoints me. I did, however, speed up to 1.15 on Audible, which is my norm.

The story continues with twists and turns
This Magical Mates series, linked to the Chosen Universe, are great books to read and listen. New characters are introduced such as Zachary and Roan. Zachary learns quickly there are so many more things to his world than he thought. And even Roan is surprised by all there is. Ofcourse we revisit Nick and all the special children and so many of the characters, various humans, shifters, fae , vampires and so much more creatures we met earlier on. And ofcourse Zachary and Roan find their hfn/ hea.
Michael Dean is always a pleasure to listen to when he brings that bit that makes it a great listen to an already wondwerful book.
