About this listen

A recent survey has suggested that raising private finance is one of the biggest blockers to property investors achieving their ambitions. So much is taught about the different strategies that you can invest in, but until now, there has been very little guidance on how to attract private finance to fund these deals.

This audiobook is designed to answer your questions and give guidance to a tried and tested way of attracting finance to your property business. You will find top tips on how to approach finding finance, as well as case studies about clients who have been taking massive action under Tim’s guidance.

This audiobook will show you "how to fish rather than giving you fish", as the saying goes. This means you can become self-sufficient and raise all the funds that you will ever need.

Would you listen to How to Attract Armchair Investors for Property again? Why?

I intend to listen to this again shortly in order to catch what I might have missed the first time around, and will keep it as a reference as I'm going through my property investment journey. It's a great book full of excellent advice.

What does Tim Matcham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I like Tim's reading of the book, it's at the right pace and easy to listen to. The tone and pitch makes it easily focussed on.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have listened to it all in one sitting if I could have done. As it is I had to listen to it as was driving to and from work and anywhere else I was going, walking the dog and pottering round the house, but I still managed the 5+ hours over the course of a few days.

Any additional comments?

A unique insight into raising private finance; how to go about it in the right way using a knowledge of human psychology and intuition. This book is a must for anyone looking to grow their business quickly without having to wait to save and doing it organically.

A really helpful book, holistic in approach.

I enjoyed this book and there was some good content. For me it took too long to jump into it and there was quite abit of waffle at the start.

Overall some good content!

I expected the aspect of the Regulation and Tax to be more detailed as it will large impact how to attract Armchair Investors. I am disappointed that those aspect though mentioned was not even discussed talk less of making a deep dive on it. But may be I got the purpose of the book wrong.

Some good tips in here but mainly personal development rather than finance specific. Also felt a bit like a sales pitch near the end.
