Glorious was recorded in London during Eddie's compass tour of the capital, which followed the now legendary Paris 'in French' dates. Eddie went on to perform on Broadway, a show that became Dress To Kill.

I used to have this show on VHS, he takes you on a surreal adventure, really enjoyed listening to it again after many years. I still think of a carpet sweeper as a 'Hodderderder'.

One of my favourite shows from my favourite comedian. Laughed from beginning to end.
I find it strange it’s slightly different from the dvd version, but still just as funny!

I find Izzard is one of the few stand ups whose performance doesn't lose much by being audio only. slightly dated with jokes about Diana and Tony Blair but still stands up if you remember the context (which I do, just). interesting to listen to in the way times have changed for the better too. A good hour or so of giggles and nice clear audio.
