Summary

Enjoyed 2/3 of it
I enjoyed Clytemnestra's and Cassandra's sections of this book but Elektra's sections are intolerable! She is absolutely awful with zero introspection which makes her sections drag on. Real shame because I really enjoyed the other parts.

Definitely worth your money
An enjoyable listen. it took me awhile to get into the story, but once interested thought it intriguing and thought provoking.

Not Saints best, but a very good read!
Ariadne still towers miles ahead of this for me, but still an amazing book by Saint and worth a listen!

Well-written but irritating
2 of the 3 main characters are intolerable and i hated them both. Only Cassandra is likeable. You dont NEED likeable characters in a story but i actively didnt want them to succeed at anything they did

Thrilling and beautiful
I loved hearing so many powerful woman in Greek mythology version of events, I’ve heard the story of Troy so many times but never through a woman’s eyes. Highly recommend

Fabulous
I love stories about the ancient Greeks and this one did not disappoint. The narration was excellent and I enjoyed every word.

Another incredible story of Greek women in myth
A gripping, heart wrenching exploration of fate, family, and destiny.
Narrated by 3 different talented women, the characters, and the changing narrative perspective, is incredibly engaging.

Audible ruined it for me
I really wanted to enjoy the story, however I had to give up listening to it on audible as I couldn’t stand the sound of saliva coming from one of the narrators. I ended up buying the book and reading the rest of it myself. Such a shame!

Slightly disappointing
After 'Ariadne', by this author, and a host of retellings by numerous others, I found this rather heavy going. For most of these re-wtites I've been swept along as the story and characters unfolded. Always wanting to hear more and having to tear myself away. No such trouble with this volume. I persevered to the end just to see how it would develop and tie things up. I wish I hadn't. 'Ariadne' was excellent and I'll still probably try out the author's other publications.
