About this listen

Three enemies...two cities...one sheriff...BOOM!

For Sheriff Duke, the danger has reached the final countdown. Captured, tortured, beaten, but undefeated, it’s 60 seconds to midnight, and the only way to save his wife and daughter is through the fugitive he left home to hunt.

But the real enemy isn’t what they seem, and the history of the forgotten Earth is about to be rewritten.

Will any of it matter if there’s no one left to read it?

The thrilling conclusion to the Forgotten Earth series.

If you love Sci-Fi, then don't miss this one.

Hard to put down. Few writers can paint a pictures with words like this. I only noticed one fault in the writing, when one character refers to a place and mentiones the wrong place (at least if you follow the conversation). Other than that the writing was flawless.

And I can't tell you how many times in other books I've grinded my teeth about repetition in frasing or use of situations in telling the story. But this author didn't take any of those shortcuts. I think that this is one of the reasons the world he created felt lived in, the characters felt real.

It was my first time hearing this reader and he did a great job of portraying the characters. I prefer it when it is just one reader doing different voices, instead of a multi-cast reading. But maybe that's just me.

Lastly, please excuse my english, it's not my maiden laungage.
