Excellent series, can't wait for the next book. Only criticism is the raw edits in the book, jumping between takes and volumes is a little jarring but it's only minor. Glad to have stumbled on this series.

A colourful world filled with adventure, and discovery - Well fleshed out characters who are read brilliantly. A crackling magical adventure with strong veins of humour, and danger running throughout its narrative.

Highly recommend. Cannot wait for the next instalment… no really… when is it out? I’m desperate to know what happens next.

Probably my favourite audiobook series yet.

I didnt want it to end, loved it! i would compare it to Harry Potter, all be it more complex in its terminology and ideas, but easy to listen to and imagine

The was several 5-10sec faults in the audiobook, as well as 1 or 2 repetitions of 20sec sections. Story and book is excellent and captivating

Fantastic continuation, performance was great there are occasional dips in audio quality throughout but they are nowhere near as bad as some of the other trolls reviewing it are making it out to be, at no point is it impossible to make out the vocals it is only slight changes in treble and base, highly recommend the series as a whole.

Enjoyable but reading the reviews on the next book The Wizard's Crown, which I strongly suggest others do. I will not be going any further some authors seem to choose quantity over quality. This series seems to be a prime example, this author is not alone many series I come across start very well then gradually the characters turn into emotional wrecks. You need to do better
