I almost feel that if you've listened to one in the series, you've listened to them all. The rediculousness of George's role in each and every crime is getting a bit beyond belief. Narration is fine, but having listened to the whole series, I am not sure I will buy any more..

there was a bit more than moderate use of repetitive language and clichés in the first half, which just came out of nowhere. without context from book 12, it was a bit hard to digest. the second half was more reminiscent of the author's style from books 1-12 of the Cavendish and Walker series, and was quite enjoyable!

the performance as always was excellent! the story was laid out in quite an interesting way!

I have listened to all of the Cavendish and Walker books & was a little disappointed in this one. It didn't feel long enough, the case was solved too quickly, and there wasn't much depth to it. However, there were the usual background relationships which I enjoy and I shall give book 14 a go when it's released.
