Summary
A hated outsider. A shocking death. And everyone has a reason for murder....
DCI Harry Grimm is settling into the rhythms of Yorkshire. Though he knows the idyllic rural landscape can hide dark deeds, the methodical investigator trusts his colleagues to guard his back. And it’s easy to keep dodging discussions about the future when he’s called to a crime scene with a body that’s missing both hands.
Identifying the victim as a city property developer who moved to the countryside, Grimm links him to a recent meeting about the affordable housing crisis. And learning the deceased man had angered too many locals to count, the determined detective and his team labor to eliminate an endless list of suspects.
Can Grimm bring the case home, or will the clever killer slip through his fingers?
Dead Man's Hands is the enthralling 15th book in the DCI Harry Grimm Crime Thrillers series. If you like imposing heroes, fast-paced mysteries, and gruesome theatrics, then you’ll adore David J. Gatward’s grisly clues. Buy Dead Man's Hands to grasp at the truth today!
Perfect for fans of L. J. Ross, J. D. Kirk, Adam Croft, Simon McCleave, Alex Smith, J. M. Dalgliesh, J. E. Mayhew, and J. R. Ellis.

I just love the team!
I feel like part of the family! I love the characters, the stories and their surroundings!
I've 'read' all the books and love them! If Mr Gatward decides to write 100 Grimm novels, it'll be good by me!

Another great Grimm.
Another cracking listen in the Harry Grimm saga from David Gatward. Every book read in this series is like catching up with old friends. Dave's writing is spot on and is obviously well researched and his description of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside brings extra enjoyment to this blind man. Well written and gripping from start to finish I have no hesitation in recommending this 15th book. Aubrey Parsons does a great job of the narration and brings all the characters to life.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.

Another smasher from David J Gatward
Another brilliant story, not as gory as some, but written showing the warmth and humour of the Dales people. David brings the characters to life, making them feel like close friends. Aubrey Parsons adds sparkle to those characters, so much that I'm sure I know one or two of the locals.
I can't wait to be transported to Hawes, to walk through the marketplace from the community centre to Cocketts, or up to Pennygarth, admiring a few bikes on the way. I'm just concerned that Wensleydale has become the murder capital of Yorkshire. 😅
