Summary
This contemporary fiction book is an anthology of several short stories:
Story 1: A man is in search for his beloved bird, which keeps flying away to different areas. However, the bird's pattern isn't random. It's not arbitrary. It has a purpose; a purpose to make its owner see his real purpose. As the man follows the bird wherever he can, each situation triggers different memories and helps him view life in a different perspective.
Story 2: Nora is confused. With her gothic look and her secret superpower to teleport from one spot to another within sight, she has all the problems a girl in her 20s can have. Faced with betrayal, mean people at the hospital where she works, and much more, she moves through life and finds ways to protect her newly found boyfriend.
Story 3: Norman is another man faced with problems. His ADHD makes him misunderstood among the populace. However, when he finds a hidden treasure in the middle of the desert, his bravery and entrepreneurial skills are put to the test. Will he save the economy of the fishermen's village?
Story 4: As Benjamin comes across a wishing well, he is amazed at the concept of "unlimited wishes." Each wish, though, comes with a warning: That life seems so much better when you have this or that, but oftentimes, it's tricky and it doesn't meet people's expectations. On a moral journey to figure out what he really desires in life, Benjamin keeps changing his mind and finds out what truly matters.

Good book
I enjoyed the different stories, some more than others. I especially liked the story about a man in search for happiness. We always want too much in life, and we're never happy. It opened my eyes, and it was humorous too.
The narrator: Sounded like he really got into it. He did voices and told the stories to make them come to life.

Awful
Waste of money I thought it was a collection of short stories but it just drones on the same character
