Ranch owner Trevor Wild loves nothing more than spending his day in the saddle riding in the Texas sun. Glamping guru, Sabrina Hearthstone, is the best of the best at what she does, and she could very well be Trevor's saving grace. The blonde beauty arrives at Wildhorse Ranch ready to get the job done. She's all business when it comes to bringing a little luxury to the leather and dirt clad Ranch. But soon she'll realize that to renovate the Ranch for Glamping she may have to renovate its cowboy too.

Sabrina is tempting on a whole lot of levels for Trevor - when he gives into both her touch, and the 1,000 thread count bed sheets, he finds that she soothes his soul. However, Sabrina's world is a difficult thing for the hardened cowboy to accept. Trevor will have to learn to accept Sabrina and her changes to his world, not only to save Wildhorse Ranch, but to save a love he never expected to find.

I’ve enjoyed quite a few of Leslie North’s books and I love that a lot of them are on the shorter end so they’re great for quick reads. Usually I find it difficult to get into a short audiobook but this one was really great. I really love the characters in the story and the narration by Rebecca Roberts helped pull me in and make it easier to get into the shorter listen.

I love the idea of this book. It was fun, interesting plot and intriguing characters. But I had a hard time getting past the mouth noises of the narrator. She did a good job, otherwise! Though I do wish their was more contrast between some voice. I did like this horse book, and I don't usually like very many.

Breaking the Cowboy's Rules was a fun short romance story based on a ranch where city girl meets cowboy. The narrator did a great job with the characters and brought the story together as a whole. The story is fast paced about a cowboy Trevor Wild who is set in his ways and struggling financially to keep his family ranch afloat so hires a company to set up glamping on the ranch to save it. Sabrina Hearthstone is a great glamping expert and the opposite of Trevor, she is spontaneous, outgoing and a keen at upcycling. They soon fall for each other working closely together but Trevor finds it difficult keeping to his rigid schedules with Sabrina about and with her being so accident prone he tends to be fixing her mistakes more than not.

This is a great short audiobook definitely worth a listen.

This was a very cute story. I loved Sabrina’s positivity. Most don’t like that, but I did. I also liked how the cowboy couldn’t seem to rid himself of her. It was fun to read.
