Summary
Adorably naive and shockingly brilliant Harrison Lessardi only needs two things in life: his pet iguana, Steve, and his undying love of science. That is until he witnesses his best friend lay eggs, and a third must-have strolls into his apartment - the sardonic and mischievous Everard Drake.
Everard Drake, celebrated doctor of the tremendously wealthy Drake family, has one goal in mind when he arrives at the scene of his youngest brother’s latest disaster: incinerate Harrison Lessardi. Unfortunately for Everard, the moment he spots Harry, incineration becomes an impossibility - he must have the gorgeous beta as his own, even if it means holding him captive on his estate.
But something else lurks behind Everard’s interest in Harry - something that tugs at Everard’s soul in impossible ways, and that will send Everard and Harry down a rabbit hole of discovery that will change the world as they know it.
An alpha and a beta can’t share a bond.
Can they?
Bond is a 78,000 word steamy omegaverse mpreg-ish romance that will leave you in stitches. It contains an unexpectedly consensual kidnapping, giant magical lizards, an iguana with a full wardrobe named Steve, never-ending nicknames, and a HEA that may, or may not involve mosquito nets. For maximum enjoyment, Bond is best heard following the events of Clutch.

Harry, Steve and Everard
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the first book in the Forbidden Desires series, so I was eagerly anticipating the second book as soon as it became available in audio (as Audiobooks are my jam). Harry is such a quirky character that we meet in the first book and Everard being a physician/scientist as well as Alastair's brother (one of the MCs from book 1), it's such an interesting meeting of the minds as the two meet. Everard is meant to be dealing with Harry who witnessed his room mate Iggy (now Alastair's mate) laying a clutch of 3 dragon eggs. Harry is a Beta but he's such curious mind so full of questions that Everard isn't quite sure what to make of him. This is their story of becoming an unconventional family complete with Steve the iguana. I love the writing style of these two authors and Michael Farraiuolo does an excellent job of bringing these wonderful characters to life. I've lost count of how many times I've listened to this one. Roll on book 3!

Harrison story!
Harrison is the sweetest nerd. He is curious and perky in all the right ways. I was wondering what was going on with Everard. Everard seemed like he enjoy him as a pet but really a beta and an alpha dragon? The combination is super fun and entertaining. I do love this world Ms Scott and Ms Kelly have created. I think this one is my favorite yet, the endearments and the endless questions. Lovely!!! The narrator did an awesome job too.

Fabulous series
I'm really loving this series, I don't know why it took me so long to buy it. I love all the characters and the stories. The narration is excellent as always from Michael Ferraiuolo. I can't wait to listen to the next book.

This series keeps getting better and funnier!
Bond is book 2 in the Forbidden Desires series, which should be read in order for maximum enjoyment.
Everard was a bit of a jerk to Harry at first, not that Harry minded that much when he was getting what he wanted, but still. It was fun to see proper Everard all out of sorts when faced with the much more innocent Harry and even more so, to see him unable to resist Harry's charm. And of course, I love Harry, he was such a delightful character. It didn't hurt that Everard and Harry had chemistry in spades, once Harry started to discover his libido, at least. ;)
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this audiobook because I adored Harry and Everard in book 1 and I loved them even more in Bond. The storyline, the seamless way Virginia Kelly and Piper Scott meshed their writing styles and Michael Ferraioulo's fantastic job bringing all these characters to life—so much so that while I'm almost as eager for the next two books, I think I'm going to wait to get them all in audiobook format—continue to make this series into one of my top favorites this year.

'Egg'cellent story with perfect narration!
OMG! I cannot express how much I absolutely loved this story and the performance by Michael Ferraiuolo! This is a perfect example of when a brilliant story meets the perfect narrator.
So, the story: We met Harry in Clutch, (and believe me when I say you have to read/listen to Clutch - it's the start of this brilliance), and this is his story. Everard, the 2nd oldest Drake has been sent to dispatch Harry since he's seen a dragon and now knows to much. As soon as Everard sees him, he knows he can't kill the beta. This starts in motion a whole adventure for Harry, starting with living with a dragon, changing the way that dragons perceive dragon omegas and culminating in Harry and Ev having their own clutch. I love the humour, fun, dragon politics, heat and love in this story.
The performance by Michael Ferraiuolo was just perfect. His Harry channeled one of my favourite programme characters - Brains (from the original Thunderbirds) - the right combination of nerd, all-round nice guy, a little vulnerable but get him passionate about something or someone, then watchout! His Everard was so deliciously snarky, suave, self assured, slightly aloof - he sounded perfect for him. Even the secondary characters like the butler were great - he reminded me of Parker (yes, Lady Penelope's driver).
This one of the best audio adaptation of any book, period. I'd give it all the stars!

Perfect character interplay & fantastic narration!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Heat Level: 3.5

OMG! I just loved this book so much!! Cluelessness, humor, food-related pet names and dragon style intrigue, all made for a fantastic story!!
I just love Harry and Ev so much!! Both characters are so unique and fantastic on their own but their character interplay was some of the best things created and the narration by Michael Ferraiuolo was incredible!!!! I love the cluelessness, inquisitiveness and unique smarts that makeup Harry is just the best. I love his internal dialogue which he usually speaks out loud and his fascination and love of all things dragons is both a joy and hilarity. He’s clueless, yet so smart. He’s overzealous, yet adorable. He is just plain loveable!!!
Now Ev, on the other hand, is the picture of a distinguished dragon and his interactions with Harry along with the never-ending list of hilarious food-related nicknames make for a fantastic mix of humor, sass, and sarcasm! I found their connection perfectly matched and really enjoyed their journey. I loved that we got more insight into this world and the intriguing world of dragons. I really look forward to more in this series and look forward to seeing what happens next to these dragons and their mates!!
Another fantastic story and now one of my all-time favs!!!!
Thanks for reading!

Clear your calendar, you won’t put this down
Harry is my favourite. He’s just such a brilliant character!
This book spans most of the same timeline as the first in the series, but focuses on Nate’s roommate Harry and Alistair’s brother Everard, who did not, in fact, ignite or eat Harry as expected. It also furthers the overarching story of the science behind dragon breeding, the rarity of clutches being borne by omegas, and what it means to be a Disgrace. It’s absolutely gripping on both levels.

Love, love Harry & Ev
I so loved this book, the dynamics between the two. I had to laugh and guffaw so often. This is a great book to read or listen two if you need to brighten your mood. Highly recommended. Only thing for me I often could not distinguish Perry and Harry their names by the narrator in scenes if they both where there. However it became clear from the story line.

An absolutely enjoyable narration
THIS is my personal favourite narration of a book! I found Ferraiuolo's vocalization to be exactly how this book should have sounded in my mind. Kelly and Scott have once again charmed me with their witty words and delightful plot. A lovely addition to a very interesting series, Bond is definitely not one to be missed.
