Summary

Brenda and Connie Sonwil, first introduced in Cove Point Manor, are back, only this time it is Brenda who is a ghost! Brenda is seeking revenge against everyone who had wronged her during her miserable time on earth, including her often clueless daughter Connie and, of course, Alex and Maggie Tinsdill. As Brenda goes about wreaking revenge on the mortal world, the benevolent spirits of Cove Point Manor try to protect Alex and Maggie, but they cannot do it alone.

Who will stop this hellion from destroying everyone she disliked in life?

Bloodlines: Brenda's Revenge is a modern take on the age-old ghost story, and one that will have you believing in the afterlife!

Revenge is a dish best served cold

I enjoyed this book. I think it is book three in the bloodlines series and as I listened to book one it was fun catching up with the characters and nice to see not much has changed Brenda is still causing havoc for Alex. I didn't find it was helpful to have heard at least one of the other books, just so I knew who the characters were. I like the fact that you never know what is going to happen in these stories, some books you know right away who the killer is it or who the girl will end up with but this is so no true with this book and I think that is what makes them so enjoyable and you listening until the end as you want to find out what happens. By the way just so I don't confuses anyone there is no romance or mystery just good old fashion haunting with a side of revenge.
Brenda still very bitter with life and everybody in it wakes up after an accident to find she didn't really wake up. In fact she died and she is now a very bitter ghost. She is quick to learn that has a ghost she can now strike back at all the people who did her wrong and made her life hell. That includes her ungrateful daughter Connie and the couple living at Cove Point Manor Alex and Maggie , who swindled her out of an inheritance. The problem is the ghosts that live and protect the manor see it differently and they willing to defend the house and the family that live within.
I like the narrator he does a good job and is very clear speaking, making the story easy to listen too.
