About this listen

Stories... They are the building blocks of our lives. They are our memories. They are how we come to know our history. They are our escapism and entertainment. Some fact, some fiction, and some are a clever little mix.

These 31 stories are fiction. Short and scary. Delivered to you in small, terrifying bursts, much the way you’d experience each individual room in a haunted-house attraction. They were specifically written to be enjoyed by both the not-too-young and old alike. Inside, you’ll find horror, drama, even a few laughs - and zombies. Zombies by the ton. Gnawing, gnashing, stumbling, and staring... Right. At. You. Waiting…for a bite-sized offering.

If you're a fan of zombie movies and The Walking Dead, you'll love this. A great set of stories.

Made for young listeners, not much in form of gore. Most of the stories let you use your imagination.
Made for a good cause.

Good stories but when you start getting into a particular story it ends, I wonder wil they be made into full books.

Excellent short stories. Some leave you wanting more though. You get to the end and wonder where the rest is

Not bad at all

I know these stories are YA, but most are pretty awful - the sort of thing kids would write. I stopped listening after story number 11, which was both terrible and full of offensive racist references with weird attempts at doing ‘cannibal’ accents.

The few that were interesting- like the one in the bunker, the one about the bus driver and story number 10, (all of which were well-narrated), were too short to be satisfying. The others were mostly ridiculous and poorly written and narrated.

These stories mostly seem to have been written for the two children named in the introduction, (which is really sweet), but I am not sure they were suitable for a wider audience.

Mostly terrible!
