These fantastic beasts are so fantastic it is great to know them though my favourite beast is the crupp they sound adorable and so does the kneazle

this book is amazing!!!
I listened to it and it's Amazing! this book is perfect for Harry Potter fans and Fantastic Beasts fans around the world there are even sound effects when Newt reads out the Beasts it's awesome! I recommend it if you don't know Harry Potter, you're missing out in the magical world! I rate this 5 stars!

Over all good listen
I really enjoyed this book - especially Eddie Redmayne's ability to make the mere facts of the A-Z nature of this book a treat for the ears :)
Do no expect a thrilling story to this book, the introduction is intruiging but apart from that it is very fact-like. However, I would definitely reccommend to any Harry Potter fan as there are a lot of familiar beasts that muster up fond memories from the Harry Potter series.

Nearly 5*, not quite though.
While I did enjoy this audiobook thanks to the great writing of J.K., the reason for not giving it 5* is that the narration (which is absolutely fantastic) sometimes was a bit too quiet or too loud, so it was just ever so slightly difficult to hear every word without puncturing my eardrums. Note: I did listen to it in my car which is possibly why the quiet parts of the narration seemed too quiet, however I have not experienced anything similar with other audio books. The nature of this book is like an encyclopedia, a book of beasts and where to find them, literally. There is only a splash of history in it, therfore there is no real story quality to it apart from linking some beasts to other characters in J.K.s universe, which is satisfying to most fans of hers who have read all her books. That being said I did enjoy it and would recommend it.

Funny and clever add on to the movie and broadens newts character. Read brilliantly by Eddy who should do more audio books!

A must for young Mythology enthusiasts
I'm a big Eddy Redmane fan, so I thoroughly enjoyed this performance. it may be greedy to say so but I wish this book had been lengthened during its revision to include some more magical monsters - it is little more than a paragraph per creature but for a young listener or someone less invested in the real nitty gritty of how something that doesn't exist goes about it's day to day nonexistence should still find pleasure in this.
