About this listen

The exciting conclusion to Across Time! Separated from Henri by 20 years, Amelie discovers that what she thought was a weakness may be her greatest strength, and that nothing about her family and her gift is what it seemed. Now, with war on the horizon and a challenge she never saw coming, Amelie will learn what the prophecy really means for them—herself most of all.

an exceptional conclusion

I feel I have to be very careful with what I say in this review, because I am afraid to put spoilers out there and ruin it for other readers.
So I am trying very hard to hold back,I know I have a bad habit when I review that I tell half the story and I am trying to do better and be more mysterious but I can't help myself.
Across Eternity is an AMAZING Conclusion to Sarah/Amelie and Henri's story and WOW what a story it is...after that cliffhanger I have been so eager to know what would happen next.
I did NOT expect it to unravel the way it did.
I have to tell you my feelings were all over the place and I was frustrated and it completely shattered my heart.
The things that Sarah/Amelie went through made me just want to cry,she has such a rough ride and I honestly wanted to hug her, that girl needed the biggest of hugs.
Henri well what can I say about him I do Love him, but he really made me mad at him for what he did..Fair enough the information was false, but NO Henri why?..I was not ok with his actions.
But his beg for forgiveness redeemed him and my heart swooned.
This book has got to be the biggest rollercoaster of emotions you will ever ride upon.
Now what made this book so much more wonderful was the Fabulous Narration by Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor.
These two exceptional talents were so perfect with their roles as Sarah/Amelie and Henri,I absolutely loved listening to them as they took me on this journey through their voices.
Elle O'Roark has outdone herself with her imagination and her writing, putting together a timeless romance.
This is an excellent ending to an EPIC Love story.
Loved it.

Across Eternity

THIS book was a whirlwind of emotions. OMG so much is happening.
I had tears in my eyes, I was shocked, I felt happiness...
I can't really describe it.

A fantastic story for fans of timetravellers, history, love & drama.

And the narrators outdid themselves with their performance.

Impressive Story & Narration🎧Moving & Mesmerizing

Elle O’Roark blows me away with this exciting and emotionally moving conclusion to Amelie and Henri’s story which began in “Across Time”, a not to be missed story and start to this duet. The ending of that book left you wanting more, or more like needing more, wanting to know what happened when they traveled back in time to 1918, trying to find Marie and Henri’s mother and learn what happened. Once there, they do not get very far and they quickly learn they fell in the same trap as her mother and Amelie’s aunt and it is all evil. Amelie, aka Sarah, wants nothing more than getting back to Henri in 1938, which is made even more difficult because of her circumstances, but she does not give up and gets help from another time traveler. More pieces of the puzzle fall into place regarding the prophecy and their goal to make sure all goes as it should, though there are some who are trying to stop it. 1918 changed Amelie in ways she never would have imagined and when she finally makes it back to 1938, everything is heartbreakingly different and despite having plans, nothing went accordingly. There are so many layers to this story, an intriguing and cleverly plotted story that has lots of drama, angst, twists and turns, action, thrilling and suspenseful moments, gut wrenching moments, heartfelt emotions, and a timeless and meant to be romance that was tested through the times. Elle O’Roark, thank you for another amazing story, an unforgettable story that will stay with me for a very long time.

🎧📚🎧  Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East continue to deliver an outstanding performance, bringing these characters to life, humanizing them with their voices and personalities. Ms. Brentmoor versatility and talent truly shine in every role, especially as Amelie, showcasing her personality, her fierceness perfectly. East is equally amazing as Henri, as well as several side characters, which they both nailed, accents included. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates the already amazing story to another level.

Sarah & Henri - Book 2

If I thought there was nothing that surprised me anymore in romance I was well and truly mistaken. Sarah/Amelie’s journey in this book is so so unexpected and I’m without words to describe everything I felt whilst listening. The ups and downs, the love story, the WW II background, the 80’s throwback…. There’s so much going on but that ending… I’m heartbroken and satisfied all at once.
Now, Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East are the true brilliance behind the writing (which was phenomenal) but they did make the story come to life.

One of my top listens ever!!!

Stunning conclusion to an epic series. This story is truly unlike anything out there right now. IT had me on the edge of my seat and I found myself teary eyed so many times throughout. I was absolutely speechless with this beautifully dramatic story.

Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor knocked this out of the park. I felt every emotion deep in my chest with their performances and the story played out in my mind so vividly with their help. There were so many times I had to stop listening just to catch my breath at the highly emotional performances these two gave. I will never stop recommending this series in audio!

In my top listens of the year!

Oh, this series! Every book is so good and the conclusion had me! Picking up where Across Time left off, Amelie and Marie are experiencing the same thing as their family members had. Getting enough strength to get back to 1938 is key, and Amelie is on it. The question is, who is running things and how does it fall into the prophecy? Once she does get back to Henri though, life has changed. Unexpected circumstances have her questioning what to do next. And don't forget Marie. She is back too and now her life is about to change. Where does it all end? Elle O'Roark has given a visual of an incredible love taking place during World War II and it's frightening and hopeful. I could not turn this listen off and enjoyed every minute of it! Series like this are why I love to listen.

Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East conclude the duet and what a performance. Each is dealing with unforeseen circumstances, and their ability to use their voice to adapt to each emotional change is incredible. Tears in my ears, fear in my chest and love in my heart, each scene is charged with feelings. Perfectly cast, this is a listen not to be missed.

Heartbreaking

The first book for this couple, book 3 in the series, is so happy for this couple and will warm your heart. This one will rip your heart from your chest and step on it repeatedly. It sounds awful, but it's all in the best ways.

Elizabeth has crafted a tale that will haunt me for years to come, leaving me staring off into nothingness as I think of all these characters, the lengths they went through, the tears they cried, the mistakes they made, and how it lead to something heartbreaking perfect at the end.

I know there are a handful that DNFed this one because of something that happens, and without any spoilers, I will tell you this... You're only cheating yourself if you stop there, if you doubt him, and don't push through. This story has to be read in its entirety for you to feel the full weight of understanding it and how everything had to play out exactly as it did. Finish it. Be mad, but then get over it and finish. You'll be glad you did.
