I followed the story with great interest. It was sad when it's ended -- not because the ending is sad but because I'll miss the characters so much. Narration was absolutely spot-on. Brilliant!

Carlos Castanedas books allow one to drift out of the boring norms of the rat race reality and go to a place where dreams come true. And, whilst many dispute the content of the books authenticity, for those of us that have travelled to other dimensions, one way or another, the books touch an alternate reality that is indeed possible allowing one to consider the possibility that there is more to life than what meets the eye, and in this respect, can give hope for a brighter future.

when Carlos began to understand towards the end what it means to be a sorcerer and becoming aware of his powers - his opening towards this knowledge.

I would highly recommend.. i found it very helpful to go over sections again few times to understand - it helped me to let go of my thoughts and I felt on a similar path to Carlos at times even though I don't take the psychotropic drugs, that was what i found fascinating

As always castenada delivers another masterpiece to add to the Don Juan series of books. This book is incredible, stop reading reviews and go listen to this book, it's life changing.
