Jack draws upon his Buddhist learnings to give a practical way of discovering your own spiritual understanding while living a modern life.

Many books about spiritual development are somehow detached from bringing the spiritual ideals that you discover into your everyday life. This book helps the reader use meditation as a tool for self discovery and development that extends to our entire lives and not restricted to the moments of insight that we all have from time to time.

A really interesting book and Jack's calm and clear narration really help with digesting the ideas he puts forward.

This is full of fascinating insights.

I've listened to a few of Jack Kornfield's books & have to say I found this a little boring. Maybe I've listened to too many? I don't know. Cannot fault Jack's soothing narration as always but for some reason this one just didn't grab me.

Not his best.
