W T Delaney is the pen name of a former Royal Marine Commando that writes books. He joined the Royal Marines in 1973 and served for twenty-four years in 45, 40, and 41 RM Commandos. During his time in the military, he was attached to the Special Boat Service and was a special duties soldier. A second career on London's security 'Circuit' led to a variety of tasks ranging from body guarding an Arab Royal family to providing security advice to both Fox and NBC News while they covered events in Iraq and Afghanistan. Delaney retired to write books in 2016 after an eight year contract teaching intelligence collection to both the Iraqi security services and the Afghan National Army. He started writing intelligence based, action and adventure books in 2016 and published his first book in his Sam Holloway series the same year. 'A Shadowing of Angels' was followed in 2019 by 'A Falling of Angels' these are now also available as audiobooks. The final book in the Trilogy 'An Evil Shadow Falls' has now been released on Amazon.
