Steven Suttie was born in Kirkcaldy, in Scotland and grew up in Manchester and now lives in rural Lancashire. Steven is married and has four grown-up children. He writes gripping, down-to-earth page-turners which are usually centred around a real-life topic which is dominating the news. This unique story-telling style enables Steven to write exciting, fast-paced crime thrillers whilst inadvertently exploring the themes behind some of Britain's biggest social problems. Steven's best-selling book is a fast paced crime thriller called "One Man Crusade." Set in Manchester, this was the first of the DCI Andy Miller series and went on to become an Amazon UK best seller in several kindle categories. One Man Crusade is the story of a serial killer who has won the hearts and minds of the British public. This story has plenty of twists and turns which keep you reading for just "one more chapter." The story generated a great fondness for the DCI in charge of this investigation, which in turn led to Steven writing further "Miller Thrillers." The second DCI Miller book was released in 2015, called "Neighbours From Hell." This is a funny, tragic and exciting story centred around the social class divides in Great Britain today. Miller 3 "Road To Nowhere" came out in 2016, and is described by readers as an action packed, "unputdownable" thriller which looks at abuse-of-power in the police force. Miller 4 "Gone Too Far" is another gritty thriller, released in 2017. In it, Britain's most obnoxious celebrity Kathy Hopkirk has been reported missing and DCI Andy Miller has to try and find out what has happened to her. Miller 5 "The Final Cut" is a crime thriller which looks into the murky waters of modern politics and the present government's attitudes towards the poorest people in society. Miller 6 "Proof of Life" was published in 2018 and explores the reality of the impact of ADHD on school teachers and the children who try their best to cope with the disorder. Miller 7 "Nothing To Lose was published in January 2019. In this story, the disturbing realities of gambling addiction are put under the spotlight. Miller 8 "Twisting the Truth" is the latest past-paced, action packed Miller adventure! A stand-alone "PC Miller" story was released in summer 2019. Set over the course of one day, 23 years earlier, we meet a young Andy Miller, a PC on duty on the day that the IRA destroyed Manchester city centre. This title is called "Miracle on Corporation Street" and relives that fateful day in Manchester's history, moment by moment. All of the Miller books are free to read with Kindle Unlimited subscriptions.
