STEPHEN BLY (1944-2011) and his widow, author Janet Chester Bly, published over 120 fiction and nonfiction books for adults and kids with over two million books in print. Janet Chester Bly and their three sons Russell, Michael and Aaron, finished Stephen's last novel for him, Stuart Brannon's Final Shot, Book 7 in the Stuart Brannon Series, a Selah Award Finalist. Janet Chester Bly is working on her first solo adult fiction series, The Trails of Reba Cahill: Wind in the Wires, Down Squash Blossom Road, and Beneath a Camperdown Elm. They have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Other recent novels released include Throw The Devil Off The Train, Cowboy For A Rainy Afternoon, Creede of Old Montana, and The Land Tamers. Four of Stephen Bly's novels were finalists and THE LONG TRAIL HOME won the 2002 Christy Award in westerns category for excellence in Christian fiction. His PAPERBACK WRITER received strong national reviews from PUBLISHER'S WEEKLY, etc. He was a popular speaker at colleges, schools, churches, seminars and conferences across the U.S. and Canada. He was featured on numerous television and radio programs, including Dr. James Dobson's Focus On The Family. He was pastor of churches in California and Idaho, including Winchester Community Church in Winchester, Idaho. He also served as the town's mayor (1999-2007). He was an Active Member of the Western Writers of America and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in philosophy from Fresno State College. He earned an M. Div. degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
