Despite only having one short story out to the public, River Hathaway likes to describe his work as sad boy fiction. With inspirations ranging from the girls who wrote Teen Wolf and One Direction fan fiction to his movie buff of a father introducing him to films that ended up on the US ban list, Hathaway’s primary goal is to not only pen stories that are tagged with a sense of nostalgia but also share tales that shed light on male trauma and boyhood. Hathaway is currently twenty-five years old and considers his MacBook Pro as his best friend/lover that holds all of his treasures and secrets.
