The Unkept Promises was molded and influenced by injured Marine Corps personnel in a Squad-Bay militia medical recovery platoon on Paris Island. They were given a voice by their comrade Ricardo Debrosse formally known as Debrosse who in tune inspired his fellow recruits to continue fervid in their resolve. All the while, Ricardo himself wrote diligently in an arm-sling state many evenings, after completing his rounds of Fire Watch to ensure a guaranteed quiet environment, to then still, also carry out his duty as Guide during the day. Determined to shoulder theirs and his story, Ricardo Debrosse made it his honor to share the story he wrote for his peers with the rest of the outside world; in preparation to publish more in the upcoming future.
