Lynann V. Phoenix-Abbott is a retired speech-language pathologist with over 37 years of experience in public education across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Throughout her distinguished career, she provided treatment for children with orthopedic, multiple, and behavioral disabilities, fostering communication skills and improving lives. In addition, she served as an assistive technology specialist for 25 years, implementing innovative solutions to support students with Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, and cognitive and physical challenges. Lyn's passion for writing has been a lifelong journey, beginning in her teenage years and evolving into a professional pursuit. She has authored numerous professional articles and developed seven virtual school courses in education and speech-language pathology. As a creative writer, she published her debut novel, The Walk Home, in 2014, followed by the screenplay Jonah's Whale. Her upcoming novel, The God Nod, continues her commitment to crafting thought-provoking and inspiring stories. Lyn Phoenix is a devoted wife, mother to three married children, and grandmother to five grandsons.
