James Lee Bryant is a Navy Veteran, American author, poet, and investor devoted to impacting the betterment of the world through his writing and community influences. His writings poetically document his emotions and state of mind throughout his journey for purpose and success. His ultimate mission is to encourage others to follow their passions and be financially savvy enough to navigate the economic hardships involved. James was born in Dayton, OH, where he lived until July 2006 when he enlisted in United States Navy at the age of 17. James started writing poetry as early as five years old, when he won his first poetry contest. The poem was titled "Orange Juice", and it sparked a fire in him that would help him navigate and understand his emotions throughout life. While in the Navy, he got his BS in Financial Management, his MS in Organizational Leadership, and advanced to Chief Petty Officer. As he is still enlisted, his Naval story continues. However, he has become very successful at real estate and market investing, which has inspired him to share his knowledge with low-income families to help them fund their passions.
