Stephen Thompson was born and raised in West Virginia. As a kid, Saturday mornings were meant for Westerns with his grandparents. At night, after everyone had else had gone to bed, he would sneak and watch Chiller theater on a little black and white TV in the spare bedroom. These two early influences would lead to a life-long love of the Horror and Western genres. This love would spawn several film podcasts(JAFMP, Wanted: Alive or Preferably Dead), an acting stint in a horror film (Porkchop 3D), and finally, his own series of Western/Action/Horror/Fantasy novels. His favorite authors include Elmore Leonard, H.P. Lovecraft, Douglas Adams, and Clive Barker, but his all-time favorite books are ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND and THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS. As of this writing, Stephen is currently working on his second book in the Whisper Falls cycle, as well as preproduction of an animated series for YouTube based on his first novella. Stephen and his wife still reside in West By-God Virginia, where they have six children, six grandchildren, and six dogs (ooooh, 666. Scary.), including two who are named Alice and Cooper.
