Before becoming a novelist, Tate worked as a journalist in Berlin and held the position of Head of Fashion at a lifestyle magazine owned by one of Europe's largest media companies (Burda). Her previous books have been met with critical acclaim and instant bestseller status, with the rights for publication being sold in several countries. Tate has previously lived in Tokyo and London before settling in New York City over a decade ago. She is the co-founder of a New York-based startup and currently splits her time between New York City and Miami Beach while working on her upcoming novel.
