Elena García nació el 17 de mayo de 1979 en Toledo y creció en Navahermosa, donde actualmente reside junto a su esposo y sus dos hijos. Aunque siempre destacó por su talento en la pintura, a la temprana edad de siete años ganó su primer concurso de relatos. Desde entonces creció su amor por las letras y aunque ha publicado artículos en diversas revistas, no fue hasta 2015 cuando decidió escribir su primera novela, Dr. Engel, que se convirtió en un éxito de ventas, llegando incluso a traducirse al inglés. Posteriormente publicó El tormento de Álex (2016), y resultó ganadora en los premios Wattys 2016 (el concurso on line más grande del mundo) con el galardón «Lecturas Voraces». Su tercera novela, La marca de Sara (2017), está siguiendo los mismos pasos que las anteriores. En la actualidad está preparando nuevos proyectos, pues es su manera de abrir el corazón y se siente bien haciéndolo. __________________________ Elena García A Spanish romantic novelist, was born in Toledo on May 17. 1979. She is especially known for her first novel, Dr Engel (2015), now translated into English, with which she achieved great success in a famous writing application. It tells the story of Natalia, a girl who suffered domestic abuse from her partner and whom luck seems to have forgottern. El Tormento de Alex (The Torment of Alex) (2016) is the sequel to Dr. Engel, but focuses on other characters. Contrary to the phrase "the second parts are never as good" it is following the same path to success as the first. Both works can be read separately. Since she started writing in 2015 she has not stopped. She says its her way of opening her heart and she feels good doing it. Her latest work, La marca de Sara (The Mark of Sara), a different story from the previous ones, has also been released. She married at the young age of 16, and the result of that marriage was two children. She currently lives with them and her husband in a small town in Toledo.
