Gutierrez has been featured at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans and appeared in the PBS Documentary, American Historia: The Untold History of Latinos. Gutierrez is the host of the podcast: Patriots from the Barrio, that highlights true stories of Latino veterans. Hollywood Actor/Producer Wilmer Valderrama's production company has obtained the film rights to Patriots from the Barrio with plans for a future film based on the true story.. Dave and his family reside in San Jose, California.
