Dani immensely enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. They are the reason he was moved to write his first two tall tales. Dead-Eye Don and the Missing Piano Tuner features talking bears, and Nacho and the Nevada Ruff Riders tells the tale of a dog gang on motorcycles. Dani shifted genres in his third book, delving into the Sci-fi realm in Nascha - New Worlds. This novel combines the past with the future as Nascha helps Captain Ron Henderson navigate through our nearest galaxy and deal with the life-forms they find therein - some friendly, but many not. The story is inextricably linked to the Navajo Nation. Travelling is one of Dani’s favourite indulgences and he has travelled extensively both in Canada and the United States. This has enabled him to share his experiences through writing. These experiences include his understanding of the culture, beliefs, and traditions of a wide variety of people from numerous ethnic backgrounds. In addition, Dani has studied business and law, and draws on his knowledge of these fields in his writing. He is also actively involved in music, plays and tunes pianos, and composes songs based on his books.
