Christen Brandt is the proud co-founder and Chief Programs Officer of She's the First, a global girls rights' organization, where she has spent the last decade advising organizations and individuals on ways to amplify their impact. She's a women's self-defense instructor and feminist leader who believes every girl has a right to decide her own future. Her work has been recognized by the Obama White House, the Clinton Foundation, the United Nations, Glamour, the TODAY Show, and more. Impact is her first book, written with her co-founder Tammy Tibbetts. Christen lives in Brooklyn, NY, but escapes frequently for a good hike.
