Carolyn Cowan is an embodied psychotherapist, yoga and breathwork teacher and teacher trainer with 30 years of experience in helping others move out of suffering and toward a more present experience of themselves. Carolyn lives, and runs a private psychotherapy practice, in London. Carolyn is 33 Years clean and sober from drugs and alcohol. She is also an Advanced Yoga Teacher and Trainer with over 10,000 hours of experience. She runs workshops and trainings both in person and online. The trainings include Mastering the Addictive Personality, The Shame Workshop, The Great Anxiety Hack, Altered States: The Breath and The Prayer Workshop. Carolyn harnesses her experience as a psychotherapist to train yoga teachers to be aware of the role an embodied yoga practise can have in supporting clients to deal with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, negative history and physical responses to trauma in the body. In 2019 she was named the top 19 yoga teachers in London.
