Author Biography Andrea R. Huff is the author of the books in the Immersive Travel Guides including this guide to Todos Santos in Baja California Sur and the surrounding towns of El Pescadero, La Paz, and San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. She and her husband have always been avid travelers and used their approach of immersive travel throughout many areas of Europe, Morocco, Bali, Mexico, and countless other areas of the world. Her next book in this series will be published later in 2025 and will cover out of the way locations in Europe. It will continue to take the immersive approach of identifying a base location that is less traveled and staying there long enough to get to know the local community. Her previous book published in 2024, Retire at Any Age and Find Your Purpose, explored the possibilities of retiring from working for someone else and finding meaningful and fulfilling ways to use the time remaining to better incorporate life and work. This can also include travel, volunteer work and creative ventures. Andrea decided to practice what she preaches to others and find a new purpose for her work and life. She is now combining her love of writing and travel to create this series of unique travel guides and a publishing company, Sonoma Publishing, which she and her husband operate from Sonoma, CA to publish all her books. Her husband, Michael Huff, is the COO of this company and handles the operations, technology, and financial aspects of the company, while Andrea focuses on the writing, design, and content development. Andrea has a master’s degree in counseling, as well as a coaching certification. She started the Coaching and Leadership practice and was a Managing Director and on the Executive Team for the world’s largest career and leadership consulting company, Lee Hecht Harrison. She founded and has been running her previous business, Third Stage of Life Consulting, for the past six years during which she coached people of all ages to enter the third stage of their lives and determine their purpose. Her goal has been to help her clients find new identities that are both satisfying and impactful. She has worked with thousands of people from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them find direction, and take action through her clear and practical approach. Andrea is living the third stage of life herself, and has transformed a corporate career into a rich and varied entrepreneurial life.
