Alice Bentinck MBE is cofounder and General Partner at Entrepreneur First, a global talent investor. Entrepreneur First (EF) was founded in London in 2011 to support the world’s most ambitious individuals to build their own tech startups from scratch. EF manages $450m and invests in individuals and early stage technology companies across Europe, Asia and North America. Companies worth >$8bn have been created at EF. EF is funded by some of the world's best founders including Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn) and Demis Hassabis (DeepMind). She set up Code First: Girls, a not-for-profit that has taught >30,000 women to code for free in the UK. She is also a Trustee of youth employment charity Generation UK. Alice won the Veuve Clicquot women in business New Generation award, and was selected as one of the 1,000 most influential people in London by the Evening Standard. She is on the UK government's AI Council and sits on Imperial College's Computer Science Industrial Liaison Board. She is part of Prime Minister Johnson's Business Council 2022. Alice previously worked at McKinsey & Company. She studied Management at the University of Nottingham.
