Summary
He’s an assassin. She’s his target. He’s been given 72 hours to kill the woman he has fallen in love with. But she’s not the only one with a target on her back.
Quinn Slater has learned to fit in where needed. Just like he did in order to work side by side with Christy Axel, the woman he was sent to kill. When their company’s CEO sends them to Las Vegas for a conference, the clock on Christy’s life begins ticking.
But everyone has secrets, and everyone has a past that will someday come back to haunt them.
Vegas Heat is an erotic thriller with nonstop, heated action.
The question is, can you figure out who the real killer is?

Quinn: Hitman, lover and a man with a past
Vegas Heat is my favourite Quinn Slater book so far. I’ve been listening to some of the audiobooks. There is something for everyone with a side of erotica (Fantasy, hospital and hitman I’ve listened to so far). Each book has been completely different.
Quinn is a hitman. His hit is also his latest lover. With Vegas heat, the lines are blurred between job and lust. When a bounty is put out on Quinn his job becomes more complicated. He’s falling for Christy, but all is not as it seems. He’s distracted by her and although he’s noticing the small things he’s slow to put the picture together.
I enjoyed this sexy read. Quinn is self-assured and a confident male. He needs to decide what’s important if he wants to protect his future.
There is more to come in this series.
I’ve listened to a few audiobooks with Mike Peterson as narrator and he’s growing on me. His voice is clear and strong.
