Summary
Oliver London has no problem standing stark-ass naked in front of a group of strangers. As a figure model, it's afforded the nearly starving artist the time and means he needs to paint.
Stori Ryder runs one of Manhattan's most popular speakeasies, Whiskey River. She's focused on her career and intent on securing a stable future after an unstable past.
Fourteen years ago, the high school sweethearts parted on a sour note. When best friends invite them on a fabulous French Riviera wedding cruise, Oliver and Stori remember what it was that drew them together all those years ago.

Sweet second chance romance!
I think your first love stays with you forever, and this story by Leslie Pike shows how deep that first love can be. When Stori and Oliver see each other for the first time in 17 years, their reconnection is instantaneous. With circumstances that pulled them apart as teenagers, they now have the chance to get to know each other again and build a relationship. The two are whisked off to be the best man and made of honor at a wedding where their slow burning reconciliation is off the charts hot! But upon coming back home, their happiness is tested. Business issues take the forefront, and now it's time to see if that childhood love can stand the trials of real life. Pike has integrated some intriguing characters, Oliver's neighbor Prudence and Stori's father both prove to be important confidants and advisors. The introduction to Oliver's sister suffering from PTSD as a child of 911 is an interesting plot on it's own, giving voice to those children that were on site. Oh, and I can't forget the dogs! The pups in this story are so cute and the love that Oliver has for his reminds me how much an animal is part of the family. Pike has woven a beautiful romance with all the elements of real life and true love in this swoon worthy romance.
The narration by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross is outstanding. I love this team, they are able to capture the essence of the book, give it the emotions and feels so you feel right along with the characters. Wonderful job.

Puttin' it all out there!
Oh my gosh, I just adored this audiobook! The Art of Love was a completely new take on a romance for me. I have never read one like this and I really liked the posing naked for art aspect. It’s a storyline I haven’t read previously. The actual romance in the story was a sweet aspect. Oliver and Stori really touched me… that reconnecting to your first love after almost two decades. They had this immediate reconnection and everything just rekindled right away. Besides their sweet and just charming romance, I really liked the secondary characters. I found the correlation to September 11th to be really an interesting.
Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are just a power duo! There narrations are always a delight to listen too. Wen Ross has this deep and manly voice and he just seemed to channel Oliver so perfectly. Kai Kennicott was sooo perfect as Stori. I really enjoyed how cautious Stori was. She was hesitant and a bit hesitant to lose her heart again but she was confident and caring…. Kai pulled off the balance of Stori so very well.

True love really does conquer all
A sweet sexy second chance romance following struggling artist Oliver who manages to connect with his first love, Stori, the very same time he secures a once in a life time contract for his works of art. A super sweet, super sexy, super predictable audio, angst free, with a little drama added into the mix here and there. A feel good audio that had you rooting for the two MCs who have struggled a little with life, but as things start to come together they find that true love really does conquer all, and together they are stronger. Lovely narration from the duo that is Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross.

Second chance romance
I love that the issues the main characters have to face are not with each other. They are there for each other and show their love and support. I love the characters. I enjoyed this story from start to finish. The narrators are amazing. I definitely recommend this book.

Second chances ❤️
I love second chances and this story is just one to remember. Oliver and Stori are thrown back together and chemistry explodes. They do have to make it back to reality. I have a lovely after listening buzz. Lovely story. And the narrators are awesome.

Gives you the feels...
This was a deliciously warm second chance love story. I did find myself thinking "all those years lost, how did they not search each other out sooner" But it was a perfect reconnect and a beautiful rekindling of their love.
This book contains a fascinating collection of characters, who work perfectly within the story... And all story's work better with animals... Ermmm not in a dodgy way... Just mean, having pets in story's work!
Narration was well executed, giving depth to all the characters.

Lovely love Stori for her and Oliver!
This was such a fun sweet book about how Oliver and Stori are brought back together by their close friends. But it’s been years. There was so much to love about the story. We get to see how both Stori and Oliver have grown up and where life has brought them. I loved the support characters especially the animals and how our love for them is so important. I loved the little spot light on children who were near ground zero during 911 and how it must have affected them. Great writing by Leslie Pike!
Fun, flirty and realistic narration done by the dynamic duo of Kai and Wen.
I was provided a gifted copy of this audiobook and I’m leaving my honest review.
