I love finding new authors and when this series was suggested to me, I dove right in. Starting with the prequel, Untold, I met Holden and Chloe. Friends since young children, the two were friendly, but not really friends. They do look out for each other and are each other's plus one. But Chloe has had feelings for Holden for years, he just doesn't know it. But this is the first insight to what could be a great relationship! Now we get to see just how things evolve and will it work! It's been several years, and Chloe is looking for the chance to move up in her company. Her boss is ill, but she is passing over Chloe because she wants her to enjoy her life unlike she did and find a balance in her life. Figuring the only way she can get the job is say she has a personal life, she says she has a boyfriend, and that is Holden. Will he go along with it? Yes! And our story begins. Will hey be able to pull off a fake relationship? Amy Knupp puts an original spin on this fake relationship, friends to lovers story. Holden is attentive and sweet. I love his ambition and how he never loses sight of what is important. Chloe is hard working, and at times finds herself a bit lost, but slowly she realizes what life is all about. This is a feel good story, a little angst, some spice and a fantastic listen. The audio of Untold is only available to Amy Knupp's subscribers, so sign up!

Who better to bring this to life than the team of Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro Foster? These two fall into character and find the perfect rhythm and voices for their characters. Hamilton is amazing as he creates Holden. He is warm tones are music to my ears. Foster finds her way through the many feelings of Chloe with nuances that let us follow her heart. It's a wonderful performance from these two and is very enjoyable.

Unraveled (and Untold) was my first Amy Knupp book and she did not disappoint. In Untold, the prologue to the series, we get to meet all the Henry’s and Chloe and it’s a little snippet of how their love story begins.
Holden is sweet, social and caring, probably a little lost in where he fits in the world; Chloe is all smart and business like but an introvert. Both have been friends forever. I loved how both kept their essence in the end whilst also bringing the best out of each other.
Teddy Hamilton was the perfect voice for Holden. Kelsey Navarro-Foster did a brilliant job voicing Chloe and bring all the good, and less good, out of her character.

This is a fabulous marriage of convenience, friends to lovers, romance novel. It is my first book written by Amy Knupp, actually my second since I listened to “Untold”, a “Henry Brothers” prequel just before this and I enjoyed both immensely. “Untold" is an excellent introduction to the series and the Henry family, and it is available on the author’s website for free. “Unraveled”, the first book in the series, tells Holden Henry and Chloe Abrams’ story. Chloe Abrams left Dragonfly Lake sixteen years ago and has never looked back. She has worked her way up in the company, Marks International, and is the Executive Vice President of development. Her boss, Angelica, founded the company and built it up from the ground up to the success it has become today. However, her life circumstances have changed, and she is considering two people for her position, Chloe and another colleague. So she is putting both to the test, having Chloe finish the project at Dragonfly Lake. Chloe is a workhorse and has no time for a social life. However, Angelica thinks that is a mistake, and she needs a life outside of work. Those are the requirements she adds to be considered for the job. Without thinking, she told her she had a boyfriend and his name is Holden Henry. Now she has to explain to her friend what she did. Henry and Chloe have been friends for years and as a favor, she was his guest at his father’s wedding, so he owes her a favor. Henry took her news very well and took the plan even further by calling her his fiancée. Chloe knew Holden and his brothers wanted to open their own brewery, so she came up with an idea that would help them get the location they needed to make that happen. The two put their plan in motion, a foolproof plan that would get Chloe everything she dreamed of, but they did not take everything into consideration, especially the feelings they secretly harbored for each other. I loved how everything played out in this book, the writing and the plotting is fantastic, as is the world building and the character growth and development. The story has a perfect balance of drama, light angst, some charming and heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Amy Knupp, thank you for the wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I am looking forward to my next visit to Dragonfly Lake and spending time with the Henry’s.

The wonderfully talented Teddy Hamilton and Kesey Navarro Foster are entertaining storytellers and a versatile voice artists. They understood the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting to that character’s persona and were believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into performance, making you fell every one of them. These two made a great team, their voices and performances complemented each other’s and their narration enhances an already fantastic story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

This is the first book in The Henry Brothers Series. Chloe and Holden's story continues after the short prequel Untold. (free by subscribing to the author’s newsletter). This is a great and sweet, and passionate friends to lovers / marriage of convenience. Holden is very handsome, caring and supportive. Chloe is beautiful, strong, and smart. They are perfect for each other. I liked their friendship, and loved to follow them in their journey to love. This is a beautiful slow burn romance. The family bonds are amazing. Teddy Hamilton, and Kelsey Navarro-Foster did an outstanding job bringing this short story to life. The audio quality is excellent. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Unsung, the next book in the series.

There is a prequel (Untold) available to Amy Knupp's newsletter subscribers that does a nice job introducing the characters and giving some extra context for Unraveled.

I listened to the audio version where Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro Foster did an amazing job with their narration. They are both extremely talented narrators and their performances added another dimension to the story.

This book, along with the prequel, were the first I've listened to by Amy Knupp. I like the way she makes me care about the characters. There was a little relationship drama without being too much. I'm looking forward to listening to more books in the series.

This was such a good childhood friends-to-lovers romance book to sink my teeth into!

Chloe and Holden have been besties since childhood. Their story begins in the Prequel Untold (which is available as a free audiobook to Amy Knupp's newsletter subscribers). Here, we meet both characters and we get to understand that their friendship has spun years. They have also always been each other's plus ones to events and such. And in this prequel, Holden invites Chloe to be his plus one to his dad's wedding. We also find out that Chloe has had feelings for Holden for years. We then see their story evolve and expand in Unraveled.

In Unraveled, Chloe returns to their hometown, and she's faced with a promotion for her dream job. With her boss wanting to see signs that Chloe has more work/life balance, Chloe asks holden to fake date her.

This was such a charming small-town, friends-to-lovers, marriage-of-convenience romance story. It was heartfelt and the characters were likeable with Holden being sweet and caring. And Chloe being introverted, but smart.

Narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro Foster. These two did amazingly with bringing Holden and Chloe, as well as their story, to life. They voiced the characters perfectly. A very enjoyable listen.
