It didn't disappoint one bit. I never got bored, never dragging the story. Great narrator. An amazing follow up to the series.

The book starts right after Eva's attack on Sara and the huge decision whether to go to Paris or not. There is not as much credible story line or action as with the first two books and you are left in Sara's angst riddled brain for the majority of the book, the section on her difficulties with French cuisine and the language had me gritting my teeth. That and her penchant for running into trouble, while a scowling Chris comes to her rescue, this happens several times and Sara seems to have gone from an assertive women in search of the truth to having no backbone and whining while making ludicrous assumptions because she is so insecure.
Do not get me wrong Lisa Renee Jones knows how to write, there was just too much overly labored feelings of Chris's tortured soul, this huge massive secret that was flogged and alluded to all the way through the book, to the point that when it was revealed I didn't much care either way.
. Anyway the book felt like a springboard for the the next book something to fill a flagging space. Not for me this time.
I just want to say that although I did not enjoy the direction this third installment went in, Grace Grant narrates wonderfully..
