They will know God and then they will seek Him more and more. They will serve Him from His presence and things will be different. They will make spiritual progress.

The Lord has a wonderful plan for you. He has purposed great things for you. Regardless of what you were and what you did as an unbeliever; regardless of the sins you have committed since you believed; regardless of your failure and unfaithfulness of the past; regardless of your having denied Him in the past, you can still rise and enter in His fullness, for no failure in the past or present needs to be final. You can turn to Him today and He will receive you and work out His great purpose for you.

This book was born out of prayer. The lord called a few of us aside to pray. Each night, we wrestled in prayer between the hours of 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. This went on for many weeks. We came to find ourselves blessed, challenged, and purified. We came to see the lord in a new way and to understand the purpose of our being in a totally new light. This book was also born out of an experience - an experience of obedience.

These messages that constitute the book, The Way of Spiritual Encouragement, were written while I was away from Cameroon to seek God's face and sort out many things with him. They have been a great blessing to me. I was shocked by what the Lord was saying to me and, by his grace, will say to those he will allow to listen to these messages. My own faith in him grew as I wrote them. I have been deeply comforted to know that God is so good, so loving and so gracious. My desire is to love him more and more.

If you are a child of God who still commits sin deliberately, committing the same sin over and over, it is because your eyes have never been opened to see that sin is a knife thrust willingly into God's heart; your eyes have never been opened to see the harm that sin causes in every domain of your life.

The thought of many is that when a person is saved, God forgives him and wipes away all the consequences of his past sins - that he is free. His freedom is so complete that he has no responsibility to rightly terminate with the past and to carry out restitution to those he wronged then. Many believers have backslid. Some have turned away completely while others have turned away only in small degrees. Many will honestly say, "I have lost that love which I first had for the Lord". Many are prepared to say that, but they are not willing to take radical steps to put things right. They see the need to repent; they desire to repent, but they do not repent, for they do not pay the price of repentance.

The Lord Jesus had one reason for coming from heaven into our world. That reason was to seek and to save the lost. He died on the cross for all sinners and thus shed his blood for all men. Everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus is saved from the consequence of his sin - eternal separation from God in hell. Everyone who does not believe in the Lord Jesus will go to hell.

The messages in this audiobook, were given to brethren from all over Cameroon in Yaoundé at a critical point in the work. There was a real increase in numbers of those who were turning away from their sins and becoming new creatures in Christ. Many young people were beginning to receive ministry gifts and to minister in the churches. There was a need for a fresh look at the ministry and the ministers as revealed in the New Covenant.
