Vampire's Mark Series

To the vampires who dominate each quadrant of the Lydian Dynasty, I'm only known as "Blackbird" - a masked vigilante who, at 19, is already public enemy number one. Escaping burning buildings, living off scraps, being hunted by vamps - those are storms she knows how to weather. It's having the entire world observe as she and the Dynasty's golden boys engage in a blood bond that has her shaken. For all she knows, it won't even produce a cure for the mysterious blood sickness like they're hoping, which could mean she'll be put to death anyway.

Corina agreed to the blood bond she forged with the Dynasty's princes. However, when a wicked outcast learns of the ritual's power, asking permission before staking his claim isn't a concern. This covenant is unbreakable, regardless of who engages. Corina's aware that it will gain strength every day, and the biggest challenge will be keeping the raw emotions it evokes in perspective. A challenge made more difficult when impulsive fantasies, involving her captor, suddenly rule her dreams.

Being taken in the middle of the night was just the rude awakening I needed to bring reality crashing back down. Trapped and unable to reach the princes or my team, hopelessness hunts me down like a pack of hellhounds. Making matters worse, I'm at the mercy of the one who's appeared in my nightmares since first laying eyes on him. Face-to-face for the second time, I'm reminded of our mutual hatred. Only, now that the blood bond has taken effect, is it still mutual? I get the sense that something's changed.
